Just six months prior to the first lockdown in 2020, I was commissioned to develop a brand for a new wine bar and restaurant in Exeter. The owners wanted a modern and contemporary brand that was 'trendy' - one that would appeal as much to young professionals as it would to middle-aged foodies. What I created was a very refined typography-based logo using a classic typeface, that would stand out when applied either online or offline.

The creative direction for the brand and interior design of the wine bar reflected the diverse nature of its audience - a mix of old and new. Think renaissance statues next to modern street art.
